Bridget Kelley-Lossada is a writer, educator, caregiver, mother, and poet-historian who lives and works in Los Angeles. She is the granddaughter of an Italian immigrant who taught her how to cook and listen to the trees.

An ardent supporter of arts and arts education for 31 years, ​Bridget is a history and humanities teacher with an MFA in creative writing from Antioch University, blending poetry and the arts in curriculum design. She leads workshops on cultivating creativity in public and independent schools and personal workshops at home. Bridget has recently returned to the classroom after 15 years of leading teachers as a middle school director.
